It's the best day ever! SpongeBob The Musical is an adaptation of Nickelodeon's long-running animated children's sitcom. We find ourselves in the undersea city of Bikini Bottom, inhabited by happy-go-lucky and ever-optimistic yellow sea sponge SpongeBob SquarePants and his equally quirky circle of friends and neighbors. SpongeBob, trying to prove to himself and the world that he is not "just a simple sponge," resolves to save the day when everybody else has given up all hope. A most unexpected hero rises to take center stage to prove that the power of optimism really can save the world.
This full-length major production stars 66 talented students from CHHS. Expect an outstanding musical spectacle with elaborate singing and dancing with a live band. Starring leads from most of the previous CHHS productions since the Lion King Jr !!
SpongeBob features an eclectic score of music, each song having been written by different musical artists. The production features original songs by David Bowie, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Sara Bareilles, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Lady Antebellum, Panic! At the Disco, and Plain White T's. This is one under-the-sea spectacular that you don't want to miss.

Admission Policy: All attendees, including children, require a ticket for admission. This is a family-friendly show, but full-length musical productions are not suitable for babies or toddlers. School-aged children must be mature enough to be able to sit by themselves wearing their masks in a chair for the duration of the show. Small children can't be held in arms or sit on an adult's lap as it obstructs the view for others in the audience. We want this to be the best environment for our cast to perform in.
CHHS productions are often sold out and current government regulations restrict the number of tickets we may sell at each performance - get your tickets soon!! It may become possible for additional seats to be sold if the guidelines change. Please stay posted and be up to date on the website.
COVID-19 Policies and procedures: All attendees over the age of 12 that are not actively participating in the event as a performer must provide proof of vaccination in the form of a government-issued QR code or a negative rapid test within 72 hours accompanied by photo ID to enter the event. All patrons must wear a mask that fits securely against the face and keeps the nose, mouth and chin covered at all times when in the school and theatre. Plastic masks and visors are not permitted.
Masks are mandatory, no exemptions are accepted. Refunds will not be given to anyone who does not meet established guidelines and behavior expectations.
